Threat model vs marketing myths

Security marketing is full of absolutes. Reality is trade-offs.

Myth
"Untraceable"
Reality
We reduce what can be observed and proven. We don't promise magic.
Myth
"We can't ever be hacked"
Reality
Assume systems can be attacked. We design so compromise doesn't reveal message contents or keys.
Myth
"Military-grade means certified"
Reality
We use conservative cryptographic principles, but we do not claim formal certification or accreditation.
Myth
"Encryption solves everything"
Reality
A compromised device or physical observation can still reveal information.

The goal is not perfection. The goal is reducing risk — honestly.
